Information on Vendor APID

From the 1st March 2023, all vendors will need to have an AuctionsPlus account and all assessments must include the vendor's AuctionsPlus ID (APID).

Shape 1

Here is what assessors and delivery agents need to know.

  • It is not currently mandatory to add a vendor to an assessment, however, from 1 March 2023, all vendors will need to be registered with AuctionsPlus and all assessments must include the vendor’s AuctionsPlus ID.

  • The online process is quick and simple and will ask assessors to add an existing registered vendor to their assessment. This will enable the pre-filling of some information, supporting swift and smooth use of the platform.

  • If a vendor does not already have an AuctionsPlus account, an assessor can start the registration on behalf of the vendor, with the vendor required to accept the invitation to complete the process.

  • Vendors will have the ability to further upgrade to a full user by verifying their identity and completing the user induction quiz online.

What do you need to do?

1. Check with your vendors to see if they have an AuctionsPlus account.

2. If they do not have an account, you can:

Start the registration process by inviting them to create an account
or
Ask them to sign up directly to AuctionsPlus here.

Why is this changing?
AuctionPlus is committed to continual improvement and introducing an enhanced verification process ensures that we can maintain the highest level of user confidence.

It is not currently a requirement for a vendor to be added to an assessment, which means that the liability of the listing falls to the agent. Ensuring all vendors are fully registered will not only save time for assessors as it will enable some pre-filling of information in the assessment entry portal, but it will also ensure that vendors are across the terms and conditions of trading online.

We want to remind you that AuctionsPlus takes data protection incredibly seriously and as per our policy, we do not share user information with third parties or use it for marketing purposes without prior consent.
What does this mean for you?
Save time when creating assessments by using the 'Your Vendor List' option to pre-fill information.

Your vendors will now be able to see their lots that are for sale or recently sold in their dashboard.

Ensures your vendors are aware of their responsibilities and agree to the user agreement and sale terms of trading online.
