Transition to New Terms

AuctionsPlus' new User Agreement & Sale Terms come into effect from the 1st of March 2023 and all users will need to accept these new terms to continue using the site.

As the new terms are rolled out, there will be auctions that may contain lots sold under the previous terms as well as lots sold under the new terms.

Shape 1

Here is what assessors and delivery agents need to know.

What determines which terms a lot is sold under is when the assessment or listing was created.

Any lot created prior to the 1st of March 2023 will be sold under the previous terms.

This includes an assessment that is created before the 1st of March 2023 and then edited after this date.

To view the previous terms click here.

Any lot created after the 1st of March 2023 will be sold under the new terms.

Please note, if you want to copy an assessment or listing from before the 1st of March 2023 and create it for after this date, it will be sold under the new terms.

If you want to copy an assessment or listing from before the 1st of March 2023 and create it for before this date, it will be on the previous terms.

Assessments that are created after the 1st of March 2023.

As mentioned above, which terms the listing is sold under will be determined by when the assessment is created.

For assessments created after the 1st of March 2023, there will be additional information you will be required to add including:

  • An additional question on a conflict of interest.

  • A new section will be added called “Notable Traits” which should be used to identify faults or not true-to-type traits.

  • If an assessor is wishing to market stock as PTIC or SIL, they will also need to provide a response for which pregnancy terms will cover the stock.

  • The frame score will be removed for both sheep and cattle, it will be replaced by Hip Height and Wither Height and will now be an objective measurement.
