Ella Matta Pastoral is a White Suffolk, Maternal & Poll Merino stud based on Kangaroo Island. Established in 1979, the stud is owned and operated by seventh-generation sheep farmers Andrew, Tracie and Jamie Heinrich.
As well as being the world’s first-ever registered White Suffolk stud, Ella Matta Pastoral is also home to a renowned Poll Merino and Maternal Composite breeding program.
In 2022, Ella Matta ran two sales online with AuctionsPlus and had fantastic results, with records broken and strong online bidding activity across lots offered.
“We’re based on Kangaroo Island, which obviously can create some logistical challenges. Circle 8 Bulls was founded in 1992 by Jeremy Cooper and is now run by both Jeremy and his wife Carmen. Based in the outskirts of the Southern Highlands, NSW, Jeremy and his family are renowned for breeding registered Angus and Full blood Japanese black Wagyu bulls.
In 2021, Circle 8 Bulls used the AuctionsPlus platform for the first time at their annual bull sale which saw 88 active bidders across 69% of the lots on offer and cattle selling to buyers across NSW, Queensland, Tasmania and Victoria.
In 2022, the 30th annual Circle 8 Bulls sale was held on Thursday 8th September and it was again interfaced by AuctionsPlus. This sale achieved some outstanding results, with 32% of the catalogue selling to online buyers and a total of 472 online bids placed across the 143 lots on offer.

Coffin Creek Angus is an Angus seedstock business based east of Mudgee, NSW. Founded by Nigel White in 1991, the business has grown from a small herd with bulls sold via paddock sales to producing around 300 registered calves each year, with plans to market 100 bulls in 2023.
Today, Nigel’s sons, Harry and Jack White, run the business in partnership with their wives and children, using AuctionsPlus to expand their geographical reach, drawing buyers from NSW, QLD and VIC to purchase their Angus seedstock.
