Founded in 1992, Circle 8 Bulls is a family-run operation led by Jeremy and Carmen Cooper based on the outskirts of the Southern Highlands, NSW.

After taking every opportunity to learn from and build strong relationships across the whole supply chain from commercial breeders to seedstock leaders, genetics specialists, and lotfeeders - Jeremy and Carmen are renowned in the industry for breeding registered Angus and full blood Japanese black Wagyu bulls.

Circle 8 2023 Angus Bull Sale Results

Thursday 14th September 2023

Circle 8 Bulls held their 2023 Angus Bull Sale on AuctionsPlus on Thursday the 14th of September 2023 at 1:00pm (AEST).

During the live auction, Circle 8 sold 55 of 64 bulls offered in their 2023 Angus Bull sale to average $9,091/head.

The top price was $26,000 for lot 21, Circle 8 Rosebud P119. The bull was out of Landfall Keystone Sire and had TACE EBVs of +4.2 for birth weight, +139 for 600-day weight, +94 for carcase weight, +4.4 for eye muscle area and +2.1 for intramuscular fat.

AuctionsPlus users secured 11 of the 55 heifers sold.

Selling on AuctionsPlus

In 2021, Circle 8 Bulls used the AuctionsPlus platform for the first time at their annual bull sale which saw 88 active bidders across 69% of the lots on offer and cattle selling to buyers across NSW, Queensland, Tasmania and Victoria.

In 2022, the 30th annual Circle 8 Bulls sale was held on Thursday 8th September and it was again interfaced by AuctionsPlus. This sale achieved some outstanding results, with 32% of the catalogue selling to online buyers and a total of 472 online bids placed across the 143 lots on offer. 

In April 2023, Circle 8 Bulls held their Female Sale Complete - T Drop  on AuctionsPlus. The sale had incredible results, 44 out of 50 heifers were sold during the live auction, with the highest price of $60,000 and an average of $12,227 per head.

In September 2023, Circle 8 Bulls sold 55 out of 64 bulls offered at their 2023 Angus Bull Sale that was interfaced by AuctionsPlus. There were 177 bids placed on 64 lots being offered. The average price was $9,091 per head and the highest lot was sold for $26,000.
